The work of Serranías Vivas has been the subject of a feature published in El País on 20 October 2026, which focuses on generational renewal in rural areas and the need to keep traditional trades alive. The article highlights Living Pastoral Care, an initiative launched by our association that connects young apprentices with experienced livestock farmers to pass on knowledge, share experiences and open up new career opportunities in the countryside. Through this project, we remain committed to more sustainable and regenerative livestock farming, to intergenerational exchange, and to a vibrant rural environment with a future that can offer new ways of life. We are delighted that initiatives such as this help to raise awareness of the challenges and opportunities facing our regions.
