RELEVA
RELEVA promotes generational renewal in agroforestry and pastoral farms located in strategic areas of green infrastructure, as a lever to consolidate a sustainable territorial bioeconomy.
The project, financed by the Biodiversity Foundation, articulates territorial support nodes, a collaborative digital platform, a standardised succession protocol, technical and environmental training programmes and a micro-credential of Expert in Generational Relay, integrating criteria of multifunctionality, ecological restoration and profitability.
Accompany effective processes of generational handover, implement environmental improvements in pilot farms and develop a validated procedure to measure the success of handover in economic, social and environmental terms.
RELEVA turns generational change into a strategic opportunity to strengthen biodiversity, climate resilience and rural cohesion.

LIVE SHEPHERD
A project to promote generational change on livestock farms at risk of closure. Thanks to the collaboration of Fundación Unicaja through the Environment programme, we accompanied three people for nine months in a theoretical-practical training on livestock management.
Pastoreo Vivo aims to facilitate new entrants to the livestock sector, through a mentoring programme with veterans in the sector, in order to prevent the closure of livestock farms, preserving the cultural identity of our mountain ranges and the production capacity to ensure food sovereignty in the future.

RESIN
An inter-university work that identifies, describes and transfers good practices and rural knowledge as a response to ecological and social challenges. Resina has three nodes, the Navarrese Pyrenees, the Interior of Castelló and the Sierra de Cádiz, focusing on Zahara de la Sierra, Grazalema and Benaocaz.
Together with the University of Cadiz, Serranías Vivas forms a local network in each of the Cadiz municipalities, a working group to strengthen and disseminate sustainable practices and community care.

SMURF
SMURF is a Horizon project that analyses management models of small forests in Europe, proposing alternatives to increase their biodiversity, use and ecological and financial sustainability.
The aim is to increase the efficiency of forest management and the use of natural resources in these ecosystems. To this end, multidisciplinary work is being carried out to consolidate a system of carbon credits at European level, strengthening the value chain and preventing the abandonment of small forests.
RECOVERING HIGHLANDS
In January and February 2026, our territory suffered the impacts of several storms, with a high rainfall that left its mark on many farms. Serranías Vivas is recovering: it is launching a direct action to support the affected partner farms, combining ecological restoration and productive improvement through pilot interventions, based on trust and cooperation between partners.
This programme prioritises actions that increase biodiversity in agricultural and livestock areas and ecological connectivity on partner farms. As well as resilience to extreme weather events, both droughts and torrential rains.
