The Serranías Vivas Association has entrusted its new corporate identity to Natalia García Olmedo, from Garol Studio, a young graphic designer who decided to return to the rural territory to start up her own creative studio. Her proposal was unanimously chosen by the jury of an anonymous competition in which 12 candidates participated.

On 9 May, a small group of people from Serranías Vivas had the good fortune to visit the regenerative estate The Count's Valley in Cordoba. It was an intense day of learning, exchange and connection with a way of producing food that cares for the land and life.

During the visit, which was organised by our partners from Regenerative GrazalemaWe take a closer look at the regenerative farming practices being applied on this model farm: from planned grazing and soil improvement using manure and biochar, to the strategic use of cover crops to protect and nurture the land.

In addition, we carried out several calicatas that allowed us to observe the real changes that are already taking place in the soil thanks to these practices. An experience guided by the expert knowledge of Paco Rodríguez (Ecuorum), which provided valuable explanations of the biological processes at work.

The final touch was a delicious meal made with regenerative products, where we shared flavours and reflections on the transformative potential of this approach. Thanks to those who made it possible, we continue to demonstrate that another agriculture is not only possible, but necessary. 🌱

Next Friday you will have the opportunity to meet us in person. We will be presenting ourselves at the Jornada Rural de Ronda - Enhancing the value of rural properties in the Serranía de Ronda.
